The Hutchins School

EdSmart and The Hutchins School – a match made in administrative heaven.  The Hutchins School has been using EdSmart’s School Organisation System since 2017 to help establish digital administrative processes and maintain effective communications. Recently, the school has been using the EdSmart and School EasyPay integration to streamline payments and administrative tasks in a way that was previously unachievable.

Adelaide Botanic High School

In early 2019, Adelaide Botanic High School joined the EdSmart schools community. EdSmart’s platform was selected as the school’s key School Organisation System (SOS) based on its capacity for integration and customisation.

Barker College

We show how Barker College is achieving outstanding results in a timely manner.

The school joined the EdSmart schools community in 2018 and has already become one of our superstar users. A big reason why the leadership team at Barker College chose the EdSmart platform was for its speed and efficiency. The ability to have information at the fingertips of busy staff is important to the School and has made a big difference in the time staff spend on paperwork.

Department for Education South Australia

In late 2018 EdSmart was selected, as part of a consortia with Civica Education, by the Department for Education South Australia, as the technology of choice to support a community of 185,000 students and 30,000 teachers and school administrators.

Diocese of Cairns

Empowering a network of schools, parents and students. The Catholic Education Services – Diocese of Cairns (CNS) oversees a network of 29 Catholic schools and colleges, serving over 11,000 students. Their schools span across an incredibly far-reaching region (encompassing 377,000 km2), extending from Thursday Island in the north to Tully in the south and Dimbulah in the west. Alison Forster, School Information Systems Manager at CNS, shares the network’s EdSmart story.

Brisbane Catholic Education

EdSmart has been the partner of choice for the Brisbane Catholic Education network’s 140 schools since 2017. The EdSmart core modules have supported the automation and streamlining of school administrative functions for K-12, driving cost and wastage minimisation, increasing teacher-student contact time and improving understanding of school relationships through data driven insights.

SJI International Case Study

SJI International High School opened its doors in 2007, and was followed in 2008 by SJI International Elementary School. Together, they form part of a group of seven Lasallian schools in Singapore with a history dating back to 1852.

Uplands Primary School and Nursery, UK

 

Uplands Primary School and Nursery opened in 1962 in Sandhurst, Berkshire, UK. A National Teaching School, Uplands is lead school of the Forest Learning Alliance and holds an Outstanding rating from OFSTED. Led by change maker and Head Teacher Phil Sherwood, Uplands began using EdSmart in early 2016 as their first foray into digital transformation.

EdSmart was founded in 2014 by parents and entrepreneurs Fiona Boyd and David Eedle, who grew tired of filling out endless school paperwork for their three children. Fiona (a former ABC broadcaster and start-up founder) and David (a successful technologist and founder) decided to help solve the problem.

Starting with simple school forms – and growing to encompass internal staff administration processes, forms and tasks – EdSmart has evolved into the go-to enterprise solution for improving workflows and reducing stakeholder workload.

Based in Melbourne, Australia, EdSmart has a global customer community, with educational institutions across nine countries.
